Chelsea liked pink, purple and red (red was her favorite color since birth). Chelsea loved to give hugs (daycare called her huggy bear), had to cuddle with her grandmother (Memaw) at least once a week, but she called her every night. I do believe she loved her Memaw as much as she loved me, and that doesn't hurt my feelings. Chelsea loved books... I read to Chelsea and her sister Ashley from birth. Chelsea loved school and received +'s all the time and was in the Excel Program in Kindergarten.
Chelsea nickname's was ROO. Like in Winnie the Pooh stories. We sang "I Love You Like That".By All-4-one.
Chelsea wanted to be a veterinarian... she loved all kind's of animals.
Chelsea had such a joyous laugh.
Chelsea loved to swing and especially play in the sandbox where she "baked" all kinds of things. A couple of years after Chelsea died we transformed her swing set into a bird and flower garden with her shovel and baking/cooking utensils placed in the garden around the flowers. It is beautiful!. We have lots of bird houses, feeders, butterfly house and an Angel Fountain. Chelsea loved watching birds and loved helping me put flowers out in the spring. Chelsea loved the ocean we were beach babes.

Chelesa played two years of T-ball league. Chelsea never used the T after "mom" told the coach several times to just pitch the ball to her . Chelsea's coach was surprised when he pitched directly to her and she hit a line drive right back at him between his legs. He never put the T on the home plate again .
Chelsea batted left-handed even though she wrote right-handed. The coach kept putting her on the wrong side of the home plate until "mom" straightened him out. The first year she played the coach gave every child a trophy. Chelsea got the one for informing the coach (you could hear her saying "Coach, Coach") of everything that was happening in the ballpark, some of what was happening in their field and all around in the other fields, so she got the trophy for being aware of her surroundings, even at the risk of getting hit by the ball in her own field.
Chelsea also loved strawberries and vanilla ice crean with Hersey's chocolate sauce....
More to come ~
